While pursuing my master’s degree, I led a team of undergraduates in a collaborative design initiative with American Eagle. The project focused on enhancing mobile shopping by improving efficiency and encouraging social engagement, both online and in physical stores. I guided the team through brainstorming sessions and helped define clear design goals. I was also responsible for designing and implementing the navigation structure, creating the interactive prototype, and presenting our work directly to the American Eagle design team. Together, we developed an improved size selection interface and a more intuitive layout for core features. We also introduced a concept called “AE Nest,” which allows friends and family to shop together by sharing carts in real time. This makes it easy to enjoy a collaborative shopping experience directly within the American Eagle app, without crowding around the same screen or sending links through chat apps.
